Hello!  My name is Kelly Loveless ED.S., NCSC/NCC, and I am the school counselor at Davis Magnet IB School.  I have worked as a school counselor for 25 years, and this is my seventh year to serve our awesome students at Davis Magnet.   • Overview of Counseling Program

    Mission Statement: 

    The mission of the Davis Magnet Counseling Program is to provide a structured program of services to all students, parents, and the school community.  The school counselor will promote the academic, career, personal and social development of learners who will become productive and compassionate global citizens.

    School counseling services are delivered in four specific ways:

    Core Curriculum (Classroom Guidance)

    • Academic, Career, Personal/Social Development (Second Step Program, etc.)
    • Character Education (IB Attitudes/Learner Profile Attributes)
    • No Bullying Program (No Place for Hate)
    • Drug Education/Prevention (Red Ribbon Week)
    • Career Café, 5th Grade

    • PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports)

    Individual Student Planning
