Versatrans My Stop is a user-friendly and informative tool that allows parents to quickly and easily access the location of their student’s bus and estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the bus stop. Not only does this solution help each student board the bus on schedule, it also saves time for both parents and district employees by making it easy to access bus route information and reducing the amount of incoming calls to the transportation department. Parents can quickly retrieve the information they require in seconds from anywhere on their mobile device.

EASY INTEGRATION WITH VERSATRANS SUITE PRODUCTS

With these Versatrans suite applications, Versatrans My Stop can be activated at no additional cost.

Versatrans Onscreen — Versatrans My Stop is powered by Onscreen, our powerful Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system that lets dispatchers know where each GPS-enabled vehicle is at all times. Onscreen provides bus location data to My Stop, keeping the information updated and accurate so parents know exactly where the bus is.

Versatrans Routing & Planning — Our software’s functionality comes directly from Routing & Planning, Tyler’s student transportation route and district management tool. Routing & Planning provides a foundation for transportation departments to easily set up Versatrans My Stop.

Versatrans e-Link — User permissions are provided by e-Link, our web-based application that allows parents to look up bus stops and route information. User access can be regulated through e-Link to ensure security of each child’s information, restricting only authorized users to view personal data. Parents use the same username and password for e-Link and Versatrans My Stop, simplifying the login process. 

GPS Hardware — The application uses data from GPS hardware to continuously track bus locations. While our software accepts data from commonly used GPS hardware providers, the use of Tyler Telematic GPS™ hardware provides the best overall GPS and transportation management experience.

With Versatrans My Stop, parents and students can see for themselves what time it will arrive at their stop — all from a smartphone or similar mobile device, eliminating the need to contact the transportation office. The application graphically displays the vehicle’s location and ETA on a map using data from our AVL system, Versatrans Onscreen. The bus’s location is continuously updated in the application while the vehicles are in route to give parents the most accurate ETA possible.
