Ms. King has been in public education for 30 years. She has served at Johnson Elementary for 28 years as a kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten is where her heart is, and she considers Johnson Elementary her home. She has invested her career educating children in the Johnson community and building strong relationships with the wonderful families throughout the years. She takes great pride in helping build the foundation for life-long learning in her scholars. There is no place Ms. King would rather be than kindergarten at Johnson Elementary! 

Ms. King resides in Brandon and is a graduate of Mississippi College. At home, Ms. King enjoys reading, playing with her spoiled puppy dog, and working in the yard. Ms. King has a passion for teaching. She holds high expectations for all children and believes all children can grow and foster a love for life-long learning.
